Our System F1 access door is a fixed hinge panel that comprises a welded aluminum frame, concealed touch latches and a 5/8” (15.9 mm) drywall inlay. There is an outer and inner frame assembly of high grade aluminum that is bonded together with a special welding process. - A small reveal of 1/16” (1.59 mm) is visible between the outer frame and inner door after installation. - The rough framed opening to install the panel is the door size plus a min 2-1/2" and a max of 4". - The panel installs behind the drywall and is installed using self-tapping screws - Any access door over 12″ (305mm) has a safety-system to prevent accidental openings. This safety system must reset after each use. - Once installed, the panel is virtually invisible!
